Tangible Truth is part of our larger network of podcasts that we are trying to help facilitate and kick off. Doug Powell has started this new podcast centering around biblical archeology, thus the tangible association toward truth. We believe that our faith our faith is rooted in real God who has interacted in with various people through out history. As such, we have an opportunity, even an obligation, to investigate truth claims about Christianity. That seems to be what Doug Powell is wanting to do, and we are happy to partner with him and help make it happen. If Christianity is true, and God resurrected Jesus from the dead, then there is a lot to look at. Hope you enjoy this podcast, and we look forward to this new venture! In this podcast, Doug gets to talk to Dr. Gary Habermas about the Shroud of Turin.
Archaeological Evidence for the Christmas Story – Ted Wright
Archaeology is not quite like Indiana Jones. It’s actually better! Many times archaeology clarifies the text of the Bible and helps us investigate the stories in our ancient and texts. Archaeology also emboldens our faith, because unlike other faith traditions, ours is firmly rooted in history, and is therefore subject to investigation.
Matt got to have a great conversation with Ted Wright, the executive director of Epic Archaeology. Ted has a B.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology. He’s at the top of his field, and loves Jesus. During this Christmas season, join us as we investigate our historical faith.
