Tangible Truth is part of our larger network of podcasts that we are trying to help facilitate and kick off. Doug Powell has started this new podcast centering around biblical archeology, thus the tangible association toward truth. We believe that our faith our faith is rooted in real God who has interacted in with various people through out history. As such, we have an opportunity, even an obligation, to investigate truth claims about Christianity. That seems to be what Doug Powell is wanting to do, and we are happy to partner with him and help make it happen. If Christianity is true, and God resurrected Jesus from the dead, then there is a lot to look at. Hope you enjoy this podcast, and we look forward to this new venture! In this podcast, Doug gets to talk to Dr. Gary Habermas about the Shroud of Turin.
About Matthew
The ability to ultimately understand anything requires more than just the fierce determination of the will. The starting point and the default position of any learning process must at its core be grounded in true humility. It is humility that allows someone to correctly assess both external and internal situations. In sports we see this play out over the life of a dedicated athlete. When someone is young and learning a sport, they notice quickly how much their skills and knowledge are lacking especially in relation to sports heroes that are idolized.
